The Battle of Bosworth was the last significant battle of the Wars of the Roses. It was fought on 22nd August 1485, and became reknowned in British history as being the last in which a King was killed in battle. Henry Tudor became the first English monarch of the Tudor dynasty. His opponent, Richard III, the last king of the House of York, was killed in the battle. The exact location of the battle is still debated, largely due to no eyewitness accounts surviving. However, the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre is a great place to visit, with interesting exhibits and information to take in.

 

According to sources like Richard Jones (see below), visitors to the centre have reported witnessing "hooded figures" and mediums who have been there claim to have reached out to various lost souls, including soldiers who perished in the battle. Audible phenomena include the sounds of marching.
